Calibre prepared the sanitary sewer collection study, master lift station design, sanitary sewage treatment plant design, sanitary sewer economic study, water booster pump study, reuse water economic study, and reuse water distribution plan for the 2000 acre Lyford Cay Resort complex on New Providence Island, in the Bahamas. The project was crucial for the development of the Resort, the ecology of the surrounding wildlife, and the economic viability of the overall project. The analysis of pumping alternatives, piping alternatives, and treatment systems significantly improved the project's overall profitability, while at the same time meeting the demanding site constraints and protecting the environmentally sensitive ecosystem.
