The Cherry Creek Vista project consists of 108 lots, eventually to be converted into high-end single-family homes, situated on 28 acres. Located adjacent to the Cherry Creek Park, the site was also home to several wooded trails and community parks, lending the site easy access to the natural world. This site was an in-fill residential site, presenting Calibre with the challenge of conserving project design to within predesignated boundaries. To further complicate the project, only parts of the required infrastructure already existed at the site, donning onto Calibre the responsibility of completing, rather than designing, an infrastructure system. The site was next to a floodplain which required Calibre to raise the site above the water levels, while still adhering to the in-fill policies. Cherry Creek Vista was also divided into 2 drainage basins in order to mitigate water flow problems. As a project, Cherry Creek Vista challenged the creative solving skills of the Calibre team, ending in the successful implementation of the newly built single-family homes.
