In 2025, Calibre Engineering proudly celebrates 25 years of innovation, collaboration, and unwavering commitment to our clients and communities. Founded in 2000 by Greg Murphy, Calibre was built on the belief that engineering should be as much about people as it is about precision.

From our roots in civil engineering, our Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) has grown into a nationally recognized firm offering structural engineering, construction phase services, and, most recently, whitewater engineering. With headquarters in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and offices in California and North Carolina, our impact stretches across the country and beyond.

At the heart of Calibre is a simple yet powerful mission: "Bringing out the best in people and communities through high-Calibre exploration, service, and support." This guiding principle is reflected in everything we do, from delivering modern engineering solutions to fostering a workplace culture that feels like family. Our values—Explore Possibilities, Treat Each Other Like Family, Support Growth, Consider the Environment, Lead, Connect, Invest in People, and Seek Rewarding Work—define who we are and how we serve.

This commitment hasn’t gone unnoticed. We’ve been named a Best Firm to Work For by Zweig Group two years in a row, currently ranking as the #5 Best Small AEC Firm to Work For in North America. Our award-winning team has worked on projects across the globe, pushing the boundaries of engineering while maintaining a deep respect for the communities and environments we serve.

As we celebrate 25 years, we reflect on the passion, dedication, and partnerships that have shaped our journey. We love Calibre because it’s more than just an engineering firm—it’s a place where innovation meets integrity, where challenges spark creativity, and where people truly matter. Here’s to the next 25 years of building something extraordinary, together.
