This project includes the development of an independent detailed environmental resource report (ERR) for the Seismic Program at Dallas VAMC. The purpose of these reports is to advise the senior leadership, AE designers, and shareholders of the environmental resources and infrastructure that could be impacted as part of a seismic program. These reports will also support data and analysis requirements for development of future National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation.

In association with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Construction and Facilities Management (CFM), this project includes conducting an environmental site assessment (ESA), environmental resource reports, and NEPA compliance of Seismic properties designated at VA Hospital Dallas Texas. The program will allow for the construction of a new Long Term Spinal Cord Injury (LTSCI) facility and construction of a new Clinical Expansion for Mental Health (CEMH). Associated facilities include parking garages and warehouse facility.

The reports identify the potential resources, existing conditions, and issues for the entire VAMC campus. The potential seismic upgrades are currently being assessed via a separate contract action and are in the Project Book Phase of evaluation.
