This $3.3M project constructed a mini-Express prototype (7456 SF), two Name Brand Fast Foods (NBFF) (Subway and Popeyes, 3000 SF total), indoor dining for 50 patrons, an 8-chair Barber shop (750 SF), grease trap, public restrooms, product delivery area, storage, trash enclosure, and parking (48 spaces), totaling 11,260 SF. The building was designed to meet all Exchange prototype and base standards and included Exchange furnishings, fixtures, and equipment. The building connected into installation infrastructure and communication services.
Calibre provided civil engineering, landscaping, and surveying services, including construction documents, design documents, plans and specifications, and construction phase services. This included demolition plans, grading, erosion control, storm drainage, utility infrastructure, horizontal control, site planning, landscaping, RFI assistance, shop drawing review, record drawings, storm pipes and culverts, outlet structures, trickle channels, riprap, flow islands, drive isles, H&H analysis for run off rates, major/minor event analysis, drainage facility sizing, peak water demands, pipe sizing, and mathematical modeling. Pavement planning included parking, walkways, curb and gutter, ramps, and drive locations. Stormwater pollution prevention permitting was required.
The project was designed to meet LEED Silver requirements.
