This $118M project included design and construction for four new facilities for The Basic School.  All four facilities include design and construction of a new multistory facility (not to exceed 92,268SF), and all facilities are handicap accessible and include semi-private bathrooms and closets.  Community equipment includes gear storage rack systems, weapons lockers, wash racks, laundry, lounges, administrative offices, housekeeping areas, and restrooms.
 
LEED Silver goals require a 30% of greater energy reduction and the designs incorporate Low Impact Development (LID) philosophies. The Quarters was designed to achieve no net increase in stormwater volume and sediment or nutrient loading. Calibre’s bioretention and stormwater solutions included filter strips, bio-swales, vegetated buffers, infiltration trenches, and infiltration basins. 
 
Additional services included design survey, utility location, construction documents, demolition plan, grading, storm drainage, erosion control, detention, paving, utilities, water, sanitary, LEED documentation, and construction phase services.
