This project consists of a master planned development in Douglas County, and Calibre has provided many projects for this development. Housing includes more 967 lots. 

 

One of Calibre's tasks included providing engineering for the Amenity Center for Macanta. Starting from an undeveloped site, Calibre provided conceptual site planning, schematic design, preliminary site planning and design, design documents, and final construction documents for Hines.

 

The project included a 5,500 SF of interior, 2200 SF of exterior amenity space with a 3800 SF swimming pool and 6800 SF of pool deck.  The exterior amenity space is a field turf area.  Sidewalks will connect the Amenity Center to nearby play structures and a regional trail system. Trail system includes 2 miles of equestrian trail, 2.7 miles of paved non-motorized trail, 10 miles of off-street unpaved trail, 1.8 miles of additional unpaved trail, and 1.55 miles of access trail. 

 

The undeveloped site required a drainage study; earthwork, grading and fill; temporary stormwater management; silt fencing; inlet protection; Stabilized Staging Areas; and discharge permitting. Access requirements included connectivity to adjacent neighborhoods and the regional trail system.
