On weekends as a teenager in the 1970s, I could walk from my dad’s office at 20th & Wazee to the Paramount Theatre without running into a building or passing another pedestrian. Today, with the Denver Metropolitan Area in a strong growth mode and the Downtown Area adding almost 30 residents per day it’s interesting to see how things have evolved. Attached is a study done three years ago by three masters students at the University of Colorado Denver’s planning school (Logan Moore, Jason Morrison, and Carrie Murphy), which demonstrates the extent of some of the City’s massive growth and change.
